Key Lime pie Martini
The idea behind this recipe is to capture the genuine taste of a key lime pie and also add a lush texture.
The components of a key lime pie are the gram cracker crust, which contains butter, the filling which is mostly fresh key lime juice and sweetened condensed milk. The typical ratio of lime juice to condensed milk is just about 30%, but since we have other ingredients and want to maintain proper tartness, I used equal parts of condensed milk and lime juice. The addition of heavy cream lends to the viscosity, and the burnt butter vanilla vodka adds the buttery component that would be in the crust.
After you make one, you could decide to make it more or less tart. Also, if you can get your hands on real key limes, all the better.

To make the burnt butter vanilla vodka.
Bartenders will use a whole bottle of vodka, but you can just make enough for the number of martinis that you intend to make.
I used 4 oz butter and 4 oz of vanilla vodka.
Heat the butter on the stove and cook it until it starts to brown a bit. Remove it from the heat and transfer it to a bowl so that it does not continue to cook. When it has cooled but is still melted, combine it with the vanilla vodka and shake well.
Place it in a container, cover and refrigerate.
